Focusing on an exuberant mixture of retro dance-rock and evocative, road trip-ready indie pop, Little Rock and roll, Arkansas’ Knox Hamilton (the name was taken randomly out of a vintage yearbook bought at a thrift shop) formed this year 2010 across the talents of longtime friends Footwear Copeland (bass, vocals), Cobo Copeland (drums), Bradley Pierce (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), and Drew Buffington (lead guitar). Citing affects like Phoenix, Foster individuals, Coldplay, the Killers, and Keane, the quartet released its music individually before inking a cope with Potential customer Recreation area in 2014 and releasing the solitary “Function It Out.” This solitary also featured within the band’s 2015 debut EP, How’s YOUR BRAIN, released on major-label Common. In 2016, Knox Hamilton released “Cleaned Up Collectively” before the launch of their full-length debut recording, The Heights, which fallen in early 2017.
