Knife Party

Blade Party is a part project featuring both founding users of Perth, Australia’s long-running drum’n’bass take action Pendulum. In past due 2011, Gareth McGrillen and Rob Swire debuted their intense electro-house/dubstep guise with 100% No Contemporary Speaking, released digitally through the Earstorm label and offered as a free of charge download within the duo’s site. They also harmonized with Swedish Home Mafia for the Virgin-issued “Antidote,” billed as Swedish Home Mafia vs. Blade Party. Remixes of songs by Swedish Home Mafia (“Conserve the Globe”), Porter Robinson (“Unison”), and Nero (“Crush you”) trickled out around once. In middle-2012 the duo released their second EP, Trend Valley, once again digitally on Earstorm, accompanied by the announcement a couple of months later a third EP will be released at the start of 2013.
