Klenke-Quartett

The Klenke-Quartett was founded in 1994 by students from the Franz Liszt Hochschüle fur Musik in Weimar, Germany. The group can be led by initial violinist Annagret Klenke and also features second violinist Beate Hartmann, violist Yvonne Uhlemann, and cellist Ruth Kaltenhäconsumer. In the middle-’90s, the Klenke-Quartett got the German and Austrian competition circuit by surprise. It has improved its popularity through concertizing in European countries and SOUTH USA, the last mentioned tour performed in 2003 beneath the aegis from the leader of Germany. The Klenke-Quartett in addition has established an in depth romantic relationship with SWR (THE WEST German Radio) and its own radio concert performances have been released for the Hänssler Classics label.
