Channeling ’70s disco through indie pop, Los Angeles’ Kisses feature vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Jesse Kivel — also from the music group Princeton — and keyboardist Zinzi Edmundson, who’s also a writer and style blogger. Kivel started producing music in primary school, developing Princeton along with his twin sibling Matt and child years friend Ben Usen in 2005. The next year, he started dating Edmundson, however the set didn’t begin collaborating on music until a couple of years later. Inspired from the sincerity and design of classic disco — and Kivel’s companionship with disco maker Alec R. Costandinos — Kisses released their debut solitary, Bermuda, via Clear Records in Apr 2010, and folks Can Do the most beautiful Points that August on IAMSOUND.
