Kirk Trevor

Kirk Trevor is really a Uk conductor. He began performing when he was eight, and provided his initial concert at 12. As students on the Guildhall College of Music, he graduated cum laude in cello functionality and performing, and continued to review cello with Paul Tortelier and performing with Sir Adrian Boult. A Fulbright exchange offer enabled him to come quickly to america in 1975 to review cello on the North Carolina College from the Arts at Winston-Salem. In 1982, he was called by Eduardo Mata as citizen conductor from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Trevor also offered because the music movie director from the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. He gained the Leonard Bernstein Performing Competition in 1990, and pursued his second profession being a music educator, founding the International Workshop for Conductors. From 1995 to 2000, he offered as music movie director from the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra within the Czech Republic, and from 2002 to 2005, he was the main guest conductor from the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. In 2000, Trevor became the music movie director from the Missouri Symphony Orchestra, and set up the Missouri Symphony Conservatory in 2007 to teach young musicians in a number of disciplines. Trevor provides released over 100 CDs, documenting for MMC Recordings, Navona Information, MSR Classics, and Naxos, amongst others.
