Biography

Killing Tradition was shaped in LA, CA, by vocalist Marcus Payton, guitarist Scott Sargeant (who experienced previously caused Laaz Rockit and M.O.D.), bassist Paul Puljiz, and drummer Pat Magrath, and the as being handled by S.O.D./M.O.D. primary guy Billy Milano, their eponymous 1997 debut recording was made by none apart from Anthrax’s Scott Ian. Regrettably, the record’s hardcore-infused make of post-thrash quit much to become preferred, and received hardly any support using their resource-strapped indie label, Edel, leading to Killing Culture’s quick demise, when Sargeant approved a new placement with Skinlab, while McGrath installed with Prototype and later on Steel Prophet.
