Kill Switch…Klick

Biography

Originally the solo project of composer/singer d.A. Sebasstian, Seattle’s Get rid of Change Klick became among the Northwest’s leading commercial crossover rings. Sebasstian began Get rid of Change Klick in 1991 and added drummer/percussionist Mike Ditmore the next yr. The duo continued to be the primary of the group because they traveled through the Desire Ltd. imprint to Cleopatra in 1994; that yr, they released their debut recording, Beat It to match, Paint It to complement, and a rarities collection, Oddities & Variations. After touring the U.S. with And Christ Wept for the Muzak for the People Tour, Kill Change Klick came back with 1997’s Degenerate and Alt, a remix/B-sides compilation. Sebasstian shaped his personal label, Iregular, which the band’s last album Organica premiered in 1999. That yr, Sebasstian place the Kill Change Klick name to rest and pursued a single career.
