Kilbey Kennedy

Australia’s Kilbey Kennedy is a cooperation between the Chapel lead vocalist Steve Kilbey and everything India Radio instrumentalist Martin Kennedy. Created in ’09 2009, the duo make atmospheric, electronic-tinged pop/rock and roll affected by their distributed like of ’70s sci-fi, ’60s psychedelia, and ’70s Krautrock and prog rock and roll. Originally, the theory for the cooperation arrived in 2005 over the pumps of Kennedy launching his solo record Big Spaceship over the Karmic Strike label, that was operate by Kilbey’s sibling, John. The Cathedral frontman noticed the record and floated the thought of focusing on a task. With Kennedy managing a lot of the instrumental responsibilities and Kilbey providing lyrics and melodies, they debuted with 2009’s Unseen Music Unheard Phrases. More albums implemented including 2011’s White Magic, 2013’s You Are Everything, and 2015’s Inside We Will be the Same. In 2017, Kilbey Kennedy shipped the expansive Shine & Fade, which highlighted the one “We REMAIN Waiting.”
