Kikumoto Allstars

Kikumoto Allstars may be the alias of Cam Farrar, an Australian manufacturer whose monitors are modeled explicitly in the common early Chicago home from the 1980s. Initial drawn to digital music in his youth after viewing Devo on Australian Television, Farrar was involved with his teens being a drummer and songwriter for punk and brand-new wave-inspired rings, but later changed his focus on electronica. In the past due 2000s, citing the impact of home originators Marshall Jefferson, Larry Noticed, Adonis, and DJ Pierre, and implementing a fresh moniker in homage to Tadao Kikumoto, the Roland engineer in charge of the renowned TR-909 and TB-303, among various other machines, Farrar started launching singles on DJ Hell’s International Deejay Gigolos label. His full-length debut, provided the self-explanatory name Home Music, and created entirely with classic Roland analog synths and drum devices, was issued in-may of 2009.
