Canadian website design company and musician Dylan Khotin-Foote, simply referred to as Khotin, creates shiny, emotive house tracks using an arsenal of analog synthesizers aswell as Casio keyboards. The Vancouver-based producer’s wistful melodies and simple beats are certainly inspired by acidity home pioneer Mr. Fingertips, but which childlike feeling of question to his music that recalls early Aphex Twin and Planks of Canada. Before making home paths as Khotin, he previously initially developed chiptune-influenced tracks as Kumon Plaza and bedroom synth pop just like Casiotone for the Painfully Only beneath the alias Content Trendy, issuing Die Youthful on Orchid Tapes in 2011. His 1st dance paths as Khotin made an appearance in 2012 and quickly captured the interest of music sites. He produced his vinyl fabric debut in Feb of 2014 with “Vitebsk,” released by Normals Welcome, the Edmonton-based label and golf club night time that he co-runs.
