English singer, guitarist, and songwriter Kevin Thorpe and his backing device Out of nowhere fuse modern electrical blues with components of jazz and rock. Thorpe put together Out of nowhere in 1994 for that which was to be always a one-off overall performance in the Colne Great English Tempo & Blues Event; however, the task turned into a continuing concern for Thorpe, keyboardist Jon Dyke, business lead guitarist Eddie Tatton, bassist Lindsay Coulson, and drummer Nigel Lobley. In 1995, the group documented its debut recording, Blues inside a Container, for the English Armadillo label. Thorpe as well as the music group toured the U.K. and European countries extensively over another few years; followed by Dyke, Thorpe also ventured to America’s East Coastline, playing some times with Paul Rishell, Annie Raines, and visitor guitarist Ronnie Earl. In 2001, the machine released its second recording on Armadillo, beneath the title Shadowplay.
