Kevin Lewis

This Arizona native is in charge of two major collections of works in the Native American genre. His Navajo Peyote Music gathers 60 different music over two amounts and represents among the main studies of the songs on recordings. Furthermore, Kevin Lewis provides recorded two amounts of Ceremonial Music and Dances from the Cherokee, representing music the Cherokee/Navajo indigenous discovered from his grandfather Bud Lewis who was simply 116 years of age, and evidently also a dynamic vocalist when the recordings had been produced, although he appears to have still left cutting the monitors up to the children. Although Lewis was a expanded guy when he produced these recordings, he continues to be singing the original songs of many countries since he was six years of age. He’s a medicine guy and area of the Kee Yaa Ane or “towering people” clan. Over the Navajo record he collaborated with drummer Herschel Kaulity, a Cheyenne/Kiowa musician. The Cherokee collection includes some 50 different music, followed by gourd or drum. The music he recorded consist of corn dance music, marriage music, women’s music and music for the turtle dance, the stomp dance, and public dances.
