Kevin Kinsella

Kevin Kinsella uncovered the music of Bob Marley during his childhood, motivating him to create reggae music group Tribulations while going to college in Boston in the past due ’80s. After liberating a 45 rpm solitary and two cassettes, the group’s full-length debut, The Gate, found its way to 1992, accompanied by Daddy Great Items in 1994. The group opened up for Toots & the Maytals, and earned the Yamaha Soundcheck competition, which resulted in them carrying out concerts in Japan. Following the group disbanded, Kinsella shaped dub-influenced origins reggae group John Brown’s Body in 1995, who released their full-length debut, All Period, in 1996 independently I-Town Information. The recording received acclaim, as well as the group authorized to Shanachie, who released the band’s albums INCLUDED IN THIS (1998), TODAY (2000), and Spirits ALL OVER (2002). During this time period, Kinsella released two single albums, acoustic folk-leaning I-Town Revival (2000) and Firestick (2002), and participated in JBB’s dubby spin-off group 10 Feet. Ganja Flower, whose debut recording, Presents, premiered by I-Town in 2000. The group consequently authorized with ROIR, liberating an extended string of albums you start with Hillside Airstrip in 2001. Kinsella added to JBB’s 2005 recording Pressure Factors, released by Easy Celebrity Records, but remaining the group on great conditions in 2006. Carrying on to record and perform with 10 Feet. Ganja Flower, Kinsella’s third single album, Great Style, premiered by ROIR in 2011. His 4th solo album, Using Higher, found its way to 2014 on I-Town, with world-wide distribution through VP.
