Biography
Keyboardist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Kevin Hearn was created July 3, 1969 in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. As a youngster he found out the music from the Beatles as well as the Seaside Boys and obviously noticed his avocation — he got it significantly. He studied traditional piano and went to St. Michael’s Choir College. He resided and breathed music. His professional profession started when he became a member of the appearance People in 1988, staying with the music group until its demise in 1993, and, as luck could have it, 2 yrs later on in 1995, he stepped set for keyboardist Andy Creeggan in Barenaked Girls just because the Canadian music group was exploding in to the U.S. marketplace. What was regarded as a short-term gig converted into a long term one, and Hearn utilized the doors opened up to him to start out a sideline single career, liberating a solo task, Mothball Mint, in 1997. He continuing to try out with Barenaked Women, and soon after the group’s 4th studio recording, Stunt, premiered in 1998, Hearn was identified as having persistent myelogenous leukemia, and finished up hospitalized in Toronto as the music group toured to get the recording. Hearn received many bone tissue marrow transplants from his sibling, Sean Hearn, and finally the cancer proceeded to go into remission, permitting Hearn to rejoin Barenaked Women in 1999. He released another solo recording, H-Wing, in 2001 that artistically addressed his disease and treatment — and was actually named following the medical center wing he was in while he published a lot of the tunes. At this time Hearn had put together his own music group, Thin Buckle, to back again him in his single endeavors. He continued to be an associate of Barenaked Women as well, dealing with a number of the composing for the music group as his part together broadened. He released another solo album, once again with Slim Buckle, called Night time Light in 2003. A 4th, The Wonder Mile, made an appearance in 2006. 3 years later on, Hearn released his 5th solo task, Havana Winter, adopted in 2011 from the ten-track Cloud Maintenance, which presented a visitor appearance from Garth Hudson (the Music group) and premiered on Hearn’s personal Celery Music label.
