Like a founding person in the experimental indie pop group Broken Sociable Scene, and a person in the label that generates its music, Arts & Crafts, Kevin Drew caused ten or even more musicians inside a collective that helped usher in the chamber pop motion. He was raised in Toronto and got his innovative start attending senior high school at the exclusive Etobicoke School from the Arts along with two long term users of BSS, Emily Haines and Amy Millan. After his passions changed from performing to music, he teamed up with Charles Spearin for any recording project known as K.C. Accidental and released two information. The duo steadily blossomed in to the even more ambitious Broken Sociable Picture, and in 2007 he documented his first single release, Soul If…, the first inside a proposed group of single records by several members from the mega-group. His second single record wouldn’t show up until seven years afterwards, following the achievement, and eventual 2011 hiatus, of Broken Public Scene. While documenting his single follow-up, Drew started dealing with Canadian vocalist/songwriter Andy Kim of traditional pop group the Archies, which reignited his innovative flair and motivated him to complete his second providing Darlings, that was released in March 2014.
