Kettcar

Just one more moody, Brit-pop-influenced indie rock and roll clothing to emerge from Hamburg, Germany, Kettcar formed in 2001 with former Rantanplan associates Marcus Wiebusch and Reimar Bustorff. Powered by a wish to move away from the raucous punk and ska music that dominated their previously careers, both musicians joined up with up with Erik Langer, Frank Tirado-Rosales, and Lars Wiebusch (Marcus’ sibling) and documented an album’s worthy of of materials. Kettcar were not able to discover a label, nevertheless, therefore they teamed up with fellow Hamburgers Tomte to create Grand Hotel truck Cleef. The music group released its debut on that label, Du und Wieviel von Deinen Freunden, in 2002. After a three-year break, where period the bandmembers busied themselves with maintaining the business enterprise of owning a label, Kettcar released their sophomore record, 2005’s Von Spatzen und Tauben, Dächern und Händen.
