Kerosene Hero

Originally getting started in 1997 like a one-man bedroom side project for guitarist and vocalist Ben Pringle, Kerosene Hero was a break from his full-time band of Nubby’s Backyard. Eventually, following the separation of his above mentioned gig that he break up his period with, Pringle recruited Matthew Talmage (drums/vocals), Chris Rodriguez (bass), and Chuck Vaughan (acoustic guitar/keyboards) to accomplish the lineup 2 yrs later on. After their 1st live display in 1999, Kerosene Hero packed their power pop inspirations of R.E.M. and Matthew Nice on the self-released debut EP Hit Any place in 2000.
