Kenny Wollesen

Percussionist Kenny Wolleson performed about more than 30 recordings through the 1990s and, because the 10 years progressed, gained increasing renown like a musician of amazing flexibility, skill, and ingenuity. He offers documented and toured with all sorts of music artists, from Tom Waits (Wolleson performs on Waits’ 1993 cooperation with William S. Burroughs, Dark Rider), to Sean Lennon, to Ron Sexsmith (Wolleson performs on his second recording, Other Tunes). A founding person in the brand new Klezmer Trio, Wolleson can be around N.Con.C.’s downtown jazz and avant-garde music artists’ recordings, and it has been therefore active concerning tour with Expenses Frisell and Myra Melford within the same month.
