Kenneth Kidd

b. 1935, Newton, Mississippi, USA, d. June 1995. Aka Prez Kenneth, as a young child Kidd sang in the cathedral choir but was also drawn to the blues. He resolved in Chicago in 1956 and shortly tried to understand electric guitar, switching to bass because he discovered it less complicated. In the 60s, Kidd documented within a Jimmy Reed vein for the Biscayne label. His monitor ‘Devil Coping’ was the prototype for G.L. Crockett’s strike ‘It’s A GUY Down There’, but he received no credit. Towards the finish of the 10 years he produced his very own label, Kenneth Information, and even though he recorded on the Hip Linkchain program in 1976, small was heard about him eventually. He continuing to work sometimes in west aspect Chicago night clubs until his loss of life in 1995.
