Biography
A well-traveled and prolific guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, Ken Nicol won his 1st bit of popularity within the seventies, within the music group he formed with Pete Marsh called Nicol & Marsh’s Easy Road. The music group got moderate success, documenting several albums, you start with 1974’s Easy Road, and winding down with 1989’s Hollywood This, Hollywood That. As you could gleam through the title from the duo’s last full-length, Nicol got eventually worked well his method to the new globe, and became a vocalist songwriter within the heart from the sector — Hollywood, California. Following the duo divide, Nicol continued to execute and are a solo musician, furthermore to business lead vocal duties within the music group Versailles. Britain (Nicol was created in Preston) known as, nevertheless, and Nicol still left the palm trees and shrubs and sunlight for the rustic backdrop of Britain to keep his single pursuits. Nicol would ultimately go on to become listed on seminal British folk-rock group Steeleye Period, and — during the period of his profession — kept active as a normal session player, adding guitar function to a variety of artists’ functions, including Al Stewart, Chris While, Julie Matthews, and Ashley Hutchings.
