Ken Brown

Ken Dark brown was briefly an associate from the Quarry Guys, and even though his brief tenure ended acrimoniously, it did its component to greatly help the group evolve in to the Beatles. In August 1959, the Quarry Guys had been in limbo, not really carrying out many gigs and on the verge of scattering as John Lennon visited art university and Paul McCartney ready for his A and O level examinations. George Harrison was playing in another group, the Les Stewart Quartet, that was planned to open a fresh membership, The Casbah, in the cellar of the home where Pete Greatest and his family members lived. For the starting time, August 29, 1959, Stewart as well as the group’s bass participant, Ken Brown, got an argument leading to Stewart’s departure. Dark brown asked Harrison if he understood of anyone who could complete; Harrison curved up McCartney and Lennon. The Quarry Guys were thus energetic once again, with Ken Dark brown on bass, and performed a Sunday residency on the Casbah for another six weeks. Brown’s stint in the Quarry Guys ended within a childish dispute. One evening Brown was as well sick to execute, however the club’s proprietor, Mona Greatest (Pete Best’s mom), gave Dark brown his one-fourth cut from the band’s three-pound income anyway. Brown created a music group with Pete Greatest on drums, the Blackjacks, to dominate The Casbah residency. When the Beatles, previously the Quarry Males, were provided a residency in Hamburg in 1960, they required a drummer, and recruited Greatest, whose Blackjacks had been about to split up anyway.
