b. 5 Apr 1932, London, Britain. Baldock performed the piano from age six and afterwards researched piano and dual bass on the Guildhall College of Music. In 1964 he performed bass within the Peter Ruler quartet at Annie’s Area in London. He became a member of John Dankworth’s Orchestra (1965-73) and in addition caused Oscar Peterson on the 1972 Montreux Jazz Celebration and in two tv series.
