A local Texan, singer Kellye Grey began creating a name in the Austin picture through the ’80s fronting a versatile music group that covered a variety of artists which range from jazz and pop to funk and blues. Her musical variety and bluesy tone of voice attracted a pursuing among university students and local people as well, and she was shortly headlining a lot of Austin’s music celebrations. During this time period, Grey struck up a camaraderie with up-and-coming musician Kirk Whalum and, throughout a functionality in Houston in 1987, he asked her on-stage. Warmed with the reception, she eventually transferred there and enticed the eye of Justice Information who agreed upon her. Her debut, Criteria in Gray, highlighted renditions of criteria and continuing to broaden her group of fans. She had transferred to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA by enough time she implemented that discharge with Tomato Kiss in 1994. Time for Austin in 2001, she documented a live show entitled Blue and Green which was planned for release through the summertime of 2002.
