The 1998 release of Make Someone Happy with the Chartmaker label was the recording debut of the bright brand-new jazz singer, Kelly Johnson. In the established, Johnson shows her skills to golf swing, scat and uplift ballads. She was created and elevated in the Midwest, gigged in early stages in Milwaukee and researched theory under trumpeter Brian Lynch (who later appear on her behalf debut Compact disc). Kelly Johnson ultimately shifted to Seattle where she became a significant area of the jazz picture in the 1990’s.
