Keith Varon

Bay region singer/songwriter Keith Varon began his profession crafting introspective and passionate stories of existence, love, and heartache within the vein of Martin Sexton, Duncan Sheik, and Edwin McCain. After setting up songs for his self-titled 2004 EP, Varon started experimenting with a far more strong sound, mixing his present for folk-based storytelling using the volatile assault of punk and emo. This cross-pollination found fruition in 2006 with Like Is really a Hero, a full-length assortment of fresh and re-recorded music that presented the strikes “Never Be exactly the same” and “The FIND OUT Track” — the second option was originally entitled “Can’t Breathe” — both which were presented prominently on MTV’s Laguna Seaside.
