Keith Hancock

b. 28 Oct 1953, Audenshaw, Lancashire, Britain. Hancock began his musical existence playing for Morris Dance edges while his dad was the business lead banjo player using the Manchester Kentucky Minstrels. After shifting from his indigenous north west towards the east coastline, Hancock became a member of the Grimsby Morris Males in 1975. He later on came back to Manchester and used various folk rings until developing a duo along with his wife Janet. Hancock became a full-time performer in 1983. His debut, This Globe We RESIDE IN included ‘Run after The Dragon’, a Hancock initial about drug dependency. The track was made well-known by Clive Gregson who also created the recording. Hancock could combine a single profession with playing for the Electropathic Electric battery Band, later to be the Electropathics, but remaining in 1987 following the music group had recorded Electric batteries Not really Included. In 1988 Madhouse premiered, again made by Gregson, who performed in the record. The monitor ‘Headline Information’ got a swipe at the united kingdom gutter press, as well as the Gregson creation style is apparent.
