Kavern Four

The Kavern 4 carried a name owed a little to a particular Liverpool club, very much as their audio was produced from the personal sound out of this same town. Ron Gough (business lead electric guitar, vocals), Mick Bott (keyboards), John Slater (bass), and Jim Richards (drums) hailed from Birmingham, Britain, and were sufficient and successful more than enough locally to attract the interest of Decca Information’ skill scouts, who place them under agreement and recorded a small number of music. Three of these, “So Happy,” “End Your Crying,” and “I wish to Dance,” finished up in the Decca compilation recording Brum Defeat — predicated on the evidence of these tracks, their audio was nearer to Gerry & the Pacemakers than towards the Beatles, that’s, the passionate and rock and roll ballad part of British rock and roll & move. They could and really should have already been competitive with Gerry Marsden and organization, the Fourmost, as well as the Swinging Blue Denim jeans, but their music may possess lacked the details of originality that could have obtained it even more radio play and, therefore, the group even more exposure.
