KATIEE

KATIEE is Katie Eastburn, whose are a vocalist, songwriter, choreographer, and percussionist using the experimental trio TEENAGERS in the 2000s was strikingly unique of the majority of that decade’s indie rock and roll: what sort of music group fused traditional American music using the free-form sensibilities of underground rock and roll on 2002’s self-titled debut record, 2003’s Battle Prayers, and 2006’s All at one time designed for fascinating, one-of-a-kind hearing. Following the group disbanded in the past due 2000s, Eastburn collaborated with performers and composers including Nick Hallett, Ray Sweeten, Jason Cady, and Nicholas Krgovich. In ’09 2009, she also started focusing on her very own music. Having become an RN in the wake of many fatalities in her instant family, she had taken motivation from her grieving and curing, and learned how exactly to plan drum devices and play various other electronic equipment from Sweeten while she was directing a music plan for teenage young ladies. Eastburn composed and recorded many KATIEE songs within this structure, but eventually recruited a support music group that included Sweeten, saxophonist/keyboardist Jeff Tobias, drummer Jason Robira, and her hubby, Jim McHugh, on bass to provide the songs even more dimension. The initial flavor of KATIEE’s free-flowing music appeared using the one “Passerby” in August 2015; slightly below a year afterwards, Eastburn came back with her first full-length, Out FOREVER, that was released by Selfish Plan in July 2016.
