b. 4 Might 1976, Watford, Hertfordshire, Britain. Buckhaven started playing electric guitar at age six, obtaining a repertoire by method of her parents’ record collection, including nation music, jazz and folk music. Her grandparents had been Spanish and Austrian on dad’s aspect and American and Scottish on her behalf mother’s side, elements that doubtless helped create a wide cultural bottom. At age seven, she started writing her personal songs even though still a kid gave some general public performances, performing in local pubs while on annual vacations in France. After learning French and German at St. Anne’s University, Oxford, Buckhaven left behind plans for any career in tv, deciding rather, ‘to pursue a profession in music, my 1st passion’. Furthermore to dealing with a normal group, she also shows up as a single act. She’s resided in London, Paris, Seville and Berlin, playing gigs at locations in every these metropolitan areas. Her singing design shows her early curiosity about folk and jazz and it is overlaid using the impact of French chanson and also ideas of blues. In 2005 Buckhaven’s regular support group included Emlyn Jones (keyboards), Amy Barnes (saxophones/flute), Adam Buckell (electric guitar), Tag Pittam (bass), and Dave Cotterill (drums/percussion), and she appreciated achievement with ‘We’re Not really The Same’, an individual from her debut record. During 2004/5, Buckhaven benefited from radio and tv performances, while her debut documenting received comprehensive airplay.
