Created in Houston, Tx, Katie Armiger was performing before she could walk and by 10 she had been adept in connecting with her thoughts, and had started composing poems and tracks in her journal. At 14 she moved into Houston’s Best Nation Vocalist competition sponsored by Radio 93Q Nation, getting started in the junior department, and by the end from the eight-week competition she walked aside using the grand reward and a go at documenting a two-song demonstration with Nashville maker Tag Oliverius. The demonstration deal quickly blossomed right into a full-scale recording task and Armiger started splitting her time taken between Nashville and Houston, where she was a straight-A sophomore college student in senior high school as the record had been completed. A robust singer having a tone of voice that gets to beyond her years, Armiger also demonstrated a skill for writing tracks, and she had written or co-wrote seven from the 11 tracks on her behalf debut. Armiger was just 16 years of age when the self-titled Katie Armiger premiered by Chilly River Information in 2007. Believe adopted in 2008, with Confessions of a good Girl arriving this year 2010 and Get into Me in 2012, all on Chilly River Records.
