Katherine Ciesinski

Katherine Ciesinski is a respected American mezzo-soprano. Her family members was musical; her sister, Kristine, is normally a soprano. Both young ladies grew up to become internationally-known opera headliners. She’s made several recordings on brands including Decca-London, Music Experts, BMG, Bridge, CRI, Leonarda, Orion, Erato, and Columbia, of a multitude of composers including Weill, Blitzstein, Carter, Alma Mahler, Handel, Clara Schumann, Gounod, Wagner, Stravinsky, Bussotti, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Dukas, Rorem, and Spohr. She’s devoted a growing quantity of her profession to teaching, previously on the School of Houston, Tx, with Eastman since 2008.
