Kate Wallace

Referred to as a songwriter’s songwriter, folk-based singer and guitarist Kate Wallace perfected her craft in Nashville, where she was an employee writer at Polygram Information. Her songs had been lower by countless performers, and Wallace discovered from Nashville’s greatest writers and music artists, creating a roots-based audio of her personal, spotlighted by her effective tone of voice and richly comprehensive and literate tunes. After a 10 years in Nashville, Wallace relocated to LA, once again immersing herself within the songwriting and folk picture in California, ultimately finding yourself in Santa Barbara. A main-stage regular in the Kerrville Folk Event from 1993, she toured and performed the A-level folk event and golf club circuit, and released a debut recording, Kate Wallace, in 1995. Founding her personal label imprint, New Set o’ Dimes Information, she released Two Street America (with Michael Camp) in 2004, alongside TOO MUCH TIME from the ocean, which made an appearance that same 12 months. The ambitious Politics & Religious beliefs found its way to 2007, accompanied by Ruby House slippers this year 2010.
