Kate Havnevik

London-based, Norwegian-born Kate Havnevik spent her formative years using the desire to become guitarist within the jazz and traditional worlds, but these plans had been derailed following joining a punk band on the sensitive age of 14. Since that time Havnevik provides explored a broad breadth of designs before buying three main tools of preference: acoustic guitar, piano, and melodica. A demonstration of her was performed on the broadly influential Morning Turns into Eclectic system on L.A.’s KCRW-FM and won her a faithful fan base. Recently she collaborated with digital music poster young boys Moby, Röyksopp, and Tom Middleton, in addition to penned the music “Elegance” designed for the second time of year finale of the favorite television crisis Grey’s Anatomy, which shown in-may 2006.
