Karmablind

This group formed when vocalist Tag Sly, drummer Mike Hickey and bass player Wayne Curtis Charleston met while at university and in addition performing throughout the club circuit.Sly attended the Berklee University of Music in Boston while at exactly the same time holding straight down a full-time job in Manhattan. In 2000, after rehearsing and honing their pop rock and roll audio, Karmablind released its debut work, a five-song EP on LT Productions. Though it wasn’t a smashing achievement, it do attract airplay at regional radio stations in addition to college radio. Many showcases and music meetings ensued for main labels, but nothing at all was finalized. On Sept 11, 2001, Sly was focusing on the 48th flooring of 1 of the Globe Trade Center structures when terrorists attacked. Escaping the horror, Sly rededicated himself to his first like: music. In Feb 2002 Karmablind released its self-titled full-length record. The music group also performed on the 2002 NEMO Music and Display Meeting in Boston.
