Karl Ignaz Weigl

Karl Weigl, students of Zemlinksy who fled Vienna following the Nazi takeover and taught in various U.S. music colleges, wrote within an essentially Passionate design but was however much adored by his Viennese contemporaries, including Schoenberg. Pablo Casals published prophetically of Weigl that: “His music will never be dropped. We will go back to it following the surprise has exceeded.
