Karen Kay

b. 18 July 1947, Blackburn, Lancashire, Britain. Kay produced her UK tv debut in 1961 like a gauche 14-year-old browsing For A Celebrity. Pursuing a profession in showbusiness she consequently guested on several displays with Des O’Connor and Paul Daniels. In 1980, she received a 14-month work at London’s Palace Theater and was presented with a pilot series on BBC tv entitled The Vocal Contact. Her soft vocal design and bubbly character ultimately led her to getting her very own series for BBC tv.
