Ka’Nut

A local of Flint, MI, who was raised in Oakland but returned to his hometown to leap start his profession, Ka’Nut installed with trackmasters from both locales for his debut album, 1998’s Take a look at ‘Em Right now. His cousin, Steve Pitts (who spent some time working with Flint’s Dayton Family members) and Bay Region maker E-A-Ski both helped from the LP, and Dayton Family members regulars Eric and Ira Dorsey make looks as well.
