Kano

Kano pioneered and exemplified Italo disco, a heavily melodic and synthesizer-oriented design of dance music inspired by U.S. and Western disco, from Stylish and Giorgio Moroder. The task of suppliers and music artists Matteo Bonsanto, Luciano Ninzatti, and Stefano Pulga, alongside a range of program music artists and vocalists, Kano released a trio of album-length tasks through the early ’80s: Kano (1980), NY Wedding cake (1981), and Another Existence (1983). From a business standpoint, the group wasn’t extremely effective. The effervescent “I’m Prepared” (having a high-pitched group vocal) reached quantity 21 around the Billboard U.S. R&B graph, while “Can’t RESTRAIN” (offering powerful spirit vocalist Glen White colored) reached quantity 35 on a single graph. Within the group’s homeland, three additional singles charted, led from the swift disco-funk of “Baby Not really Tonight” (another group vocal), lots three strike. Kano’s effect was higher in underground night clubs; three years after launch, the charting singles, along with the loves of “From the Battle,” “Another Existence,” and “Dance College,” remained favored by home and throwback-disco DJs, in addition to compilation suppliers. Kano’s greatest publicity, however disguised, was included with Label Team’s 1993 Miami bass/pop-rap smash strike “Whoomp!
