Seattle’s Kane Hodder understand the formulation that manuals most modern screamo rings — especially the comparison of melodic performing versus shrieking vocals inside the same angst-filled melody. And with this understanding comes the power for Kane Hodder to broaden beyond your genre’s seemingly rigorous parameters, shatter goals, and develop a distinct sound inherently their very own. The group’s stylistic flexibility — a dizzying mixture of extreme rock that attracts from intensifying and glam rock and roll just as much as post-hardcore and indie pop — has already established them sharing levels with a variety of rings, including Pretty Young ladies Make Graves, MXPX, Phantom Globe, and These Hands Are Snakes. The fivesome includes vocalist Andrew Moore, bassist Nick Cates, drummer Charley Potter, and guitarists Eric Christianson and Jeremy Light. Kane Hodder acquired two produces in 2004: Frank Exploration of Voyeurism and Assault EP arrived on Cowboy Versus Sailor as well as the full-length The Pleasure to stay So Heartless made an appearance on Suburban House. Kane Hodder became an integral part of the Fueled by Ramen family members in 2005, as well as the label re-released their full-length with brand-new artwork along with a reward DVD that Apr.
