Kanda Bongo Man

Soukous, the dance music of Zaire, was updated by Paris-based vocalist and bandleader Konda Bongo Guy. Along with his high tenor vocals alternating between lyrics in Lingala and People from france, Bongo Guy and his music group, which includes included important guitarists Diblo Dibala within the 1980s and Rigo Celebrity within the 1990s, offers sparked dance in audiences around the world.
