Kanaku y El Tigre

Kanaku y Un Tigre are an indie folk duo located in Lima, Peru. Multi-instrumentalists Nico Saba and Bruno Bellatin’s function reflects both metropolitan and rural scenery of modern-day Peru through earnest, heartfelt tracks that feature acoustic guitars, ukuleles, consumer electronics, and different psychedelic components. They released their debut recording, Caracoles, in 2011 and among its tracks, “Bicicleta,” was presented prominently in the 2012 browsing documentary THIS TIME AROUND Tomorrow, providing the band world-wide publicity. They spent another many years touring and documenting their follow-up, the warmly eclectic Quema Quema Quema, that was released internationally by Strut Information in-may 2015.
