Using its overt sociopolitical stance, somewhat rare for the West Coast rapper, Kam’s angst-ridden hardcore rap went largely unappreciated through the entire ’90s, despite an early on affiliation with Ice Cube. His produces made an appearance sporadically, debuting initial in the Boyz N the Hood soundtrack, after that releasing his initial solo record, Neva Once again (1993, Atlantic), accompanied by a generally ignored sophomore discharge, Manufactured in America (1995, East Western world). Then took time away in the past due ’90s to go after other passions before coming back in 2001 in the indie Hard Tyme Information with Kamnesia, an ambitious return that discovered him bringing hook club-friendly attract his hardcore rhymes.
