Kalkaska formed in the Detroit suburbs in summer months 2001 seeing that the experimental task of art pupil Christian Jay Sienkiewicz. Originally concentrating on split digital instrumentals, Sienkiewicz would shortly end up being the group’s business lead vocalist aswell as business lead guitarist.
