Kalkaska formed in the Detroit suburbs in summer months 2001 seeing that the experimental task of art pupil Christian Jay Sienkiewicz. Originally concentrating on split digital instrumentals, Sienkiewicz would shortly end up being the group’s business lead vocalist aswell as business lead guitarist. With bassist Matt Porter and drummer Mike Campbell filling in the primary trio, a slew of various other musicians joined up with the group sporadically, producing Kalkaska even more of a revolving rock and roll/dub collection when compared to a traditional music group in early stages.
