Kai Hansen

A German guitarist and vocalist who 1st found success because the co-founder of power metallic greats Helloween, Kai Hansen was created in 1963 in Hamburg, Western Germany. He started his musical profession in 1978 alongside Iron Saviour co-founder and maker Piet Sielck in an organization known as Gentry. He created Helloween in 1983 with guitarist Michael Weikath, and remained with the music group until 1989, showing up with an EP and three full-length albums, like the group’s landmark Keeper from the Seven Secrets, Vols. 1 & 2. After departing Helloween, Hansen created his personal power metallic group, Gamma Ray, which became probably one of the most prominent and prolific functions within the German metallic scene. He offers made an appearance with and performed on albums with an array of like-minded performers, including Blind Guardian, Angra, ex-Helloween vocalist Michael Kiske, Hammerfall, Surprise Warrior, and Unisonic. In 2016, he released his 1st solo recording, XXX: Three Years in Metal.
