Raised in the low course neighborhood of Brownsville, in Brooklyn, NY, East Coast rapper Kaseem Ryan (aka Ka) got his begin during the fantastic age group of rap, in the group Organic Elements. When that task fizzled out, he shaped the underground hip-hop duo Nightbreed with fellow rapper Kev. For his initial single outing, 2008’s Iron Functions, he appropriated the boom-bap design of the ’90s, and his exclusive lyrical design drew the eye from the Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA, who asked Ka to visitor on the track “Firehouse” on Pro Equipment. 2012’s Grief Pedigree and 2013’s The Night’s Gambit adopted by himself Iron Functions label.
