K Rad produce electronica that purposefully defies categorization, constructed quickly with the group in its North Chicago apartment in a number of computer systems. Group members Tag Hardy, Chris Grabowski, and Joe Hahn constructed their market on the web (www.padk-rad.com), where they released more than twelve CD-Rs before Pravda Information released their initial official record, Deli Mood Place, in 2002. Like K Rad’s many preceding CD-R produces, the album provided a number of songs designed for headphone hearing, not dancing. Inspired by, and in comparison to, such IDM stalwarts as Aphex Twin and µ-Ziq, K Rad spawned a cult pursuing in Chicago, where in fact the group performed live at many clubs and displays.
