K.C. Douglas

A self-professed former rock and roll & roll aficionado, K.C. Douglas (blessed Linda Hutsell) is among the top series dance teachers in California. The receiver of Dance Trainer of the entire year awards in the California Nation Music Association in 1998, 2000, 2001, and 2002, she was inducted in to the organization’s hall of popularity in 1999. Douglas, who proceeds to instruct regular classes in Whittier and Santa Springs, acquired no understanding of series dance when she recognized a friend’s invitation to instruct the dance design in 1993. Motivated by the task, she not merely taught herself the fundamentals of series dancing, but created her unique strategy within a couple of months. “I take advantage of a whole lot of joking in my own teaching, a whole lot of connections,” Douglas stated throughout a May 2003 interview. “I’d like people to have got a really great time rather than take it as well seriously. I’d like them to just forget about their issues.” Blessed in Humansville, MO, Douglas transferred to southern California as a young child.
