Junior Samples

b. Alvin Examples, 10 August 1926, Cumming, Georgia, USA, d. 13 November 1983, Cumming, Georgia, USA. Examples had worked for some of his existence inside a sawmill, when he became an urgent celebrity. Weighing in at more than 20 rock, he revelled in becoming known as the ‘globe’s biggest liar’ – a name he obtained from relating what some termed ‘amusing’ tales. One particular tale brought him to the eye of Chart Information and he obtained a minor nation strike in 1967 with ‘Globe’s Biggest Whopper’. He consequently recorded a single album and something with fellow comedian Archie Campbell. This record achievement saw him enroll in Hee Haw despite the fact that, in what of Expenses C. Samples passed away suddenly carrying out a coronary attack at his house in 1983.
