NORTH PARK area electro pop duo Junior Great were born away of producer Michael Deakers and digital single artist Josh Ottum’s distributed affinity and nostalgia for the positive dance grooves of 1980s radio pop. Both music artists was raised in the 1980s, raiding their old sisters’ cassette series and becoming completely changed with the infectious dance-soul pop of Prince, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, the Pointer Sisters, and many more. In nov 2010 both fulfilled up for an informal dinner and came back to Deakers’ home for an impromptu jam program, which created the pair’s initial song. Within the a few months that implemented, the duo proved helpful obsessively on Junior Great songs and started playing locally by the wintertime of 2012. An eponymous debut record followed in-may of that calendar year, with a Western european tour scheduled to check out.
