United kingdom pianist Julius Drake is certainly a respected specialist in the performance of chamber music and vocal accompaniment. He began piano lessons at age seven. He provides made many recordings, including: Sibelius tracks with Katarina Karnéus; Haydn Canzonettas with Christoph Genz; French tracks with Hughes Cuenod; French sonatas with Nicholas Daniel; spirituals with Ruby Philogene; clarinet and piano works together with Emma Johnson; Ivor Gurney tracks with Paul Agnew; Schubert and Schumann discs with tenor Ian Bostridge; as well as the Britten Canticles with Ian Bostridge and David Daniels. Furthermore to regular collaborations with Bostridge, Drake spent some time working with an extended roster of celebrated performers, including Sir Thomas Allen, Barbara Bonney, Lorraine Hunt Lieberson, Derek Lee Ragin, Emma Johnson, Felicity Lott, Michael Possibility, Edith Mathis, Angelika Kirchschlager, Yvonne Kenny, Joan Rodgers, Gerald Finley, Jill Gomez, Julian Lloyd Webber, Matthias Görne, Nathan Berg, Sally Burgess, Natalie Clein, Robert Cohen, Peter Coleman-Wright, Nicholas Daniel, William Dazeley, Wolfgang Holzmair, Ruby Philogene, Victoria de la, and Paul Whelan. Drake provides performed at main international music celebrations and concert halls in Britain and European countries, including five recitals on the 1995 Cheltenham International Celebration and some Schubertiads in the tune recital series at Wigmore Hall. He in addition has performed the entire tunes of Gabriel Fauré for the BBC. From 2000 to 2003 Drake was the artistic movie director from the Perth International Chamber Music Event in Australia, and from 2009 he aimed the Machynlleth Event in Wales.
